Rekha Krishnamoorthy

In 2015, I completed my 5 month teacher training at the Isha Yoga Center in India. I joined the teacher training to restore my health, however having experienced my own self transformation I decided to embrace the path of yoga wholeheartedly, and help others embark on their own journey towards complete well-being. During the Isha teacher training I experienced significant transformations on many levels, many of which I can’t quite put inwards, but all which has had an undeniable positive impact on my physical and mental health. The way I experienced life changed fundamentally, my interactions with others, my perception of myself, the lightness in my body, the intensity of joy and stillness within me. When I discovered the potential of yoga as a self-transformation and healing tool, I was determined to share this ancient and sacred science with others. Since then, I have been offering classical Hatha yoga classes, workshops and retreats in India and Sri Lanka.I have been conducting yoga and meditation classes, workshops and retreats in India and Sri Lanka for the last 5 years. My classes are tailored to offer a solid foundation on how to perform asanas (yoga postures) with the proper alignment, form and breathing , combining pranayama, bandhas, and meditation. I encourage students to develop their own practice for improved self-awareness, healing and emotional and physical balance. I teach various practices that offer a range of benefits addressing different needs for all levels. Whether you are looking for a deeply spiritual practice, or simply want to live a more healthy and physically active life, there is a suitable practice for everyone. I am focused on sharing these practices, combined with a holistic approach to well-being.
